Job Title: Semi-Skilled Labourer
Location: Southport, Merseyside
Duration: 3–6 Months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Semi-Skilled Labourer to join a busy new build construction project in Southport. This is a long-term opportunity (3–6 months) for the right candidate, supporting site operations and assisting across multiple trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with general building and site duties
- Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day tasks
- Working alongside various trades and assisting where required
- Carrying out infilling work between trades to maintain site progress
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Following instructions accurately and working as part of a team
Requirements:
- Valid Blue CSCS Card (essential)
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK
- Valid Photo ID
- Full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots)
- Minimum of 2 checkable references from relevant construction or labouring roles
- Previous experience in a semi-skilled or labouring role on construction sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability with the ability to commit to full working weeks
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
