HGV Class 1 Tanker Drivers

£17.00 per hour (first 50 hours)
£21.25 per hour (after 50 hours – time + ¼)
£25.50 per hour (weekends – time + ½)

Our client is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Tanker Drivers to join their specialist drainage operations team. This role involves operating a variety of jetting and suction tankers to deliver essential environmental services across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate specialist vehicles including Super Suction Jetting Tankers, Combination Jetting Tankers, and Vacuum Tankers (training provided).
- Respond to emergency call-outs, tackling sewer blockages, flooding, and pollution incidents.
- Collect and safely dispose of controlled and liquid waste in full compliance with regulations.
- Carry out pre-and post-shift vehicle checks to maintain operational standards.
- Accurately record job details and maintain documentation.
- Work to all statutory health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- ADR licence (advantageous but not essential).
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Flexibility to work away from home when required.
