Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver – Permanent Role (Manchester-Based)
We’re currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver with ADR – Tanker Experience for a permanent position based out of Manchester.
Key Details:
- Location: Manchester (with UK-wide travel)
- Contract: Permanent
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (occasional weekends/overtime)
- Stay Aways: Occasional nights out required – hotel accommodation provided + overnight subsistence allowance
- Start Date: ASAP
What You’ll Be Doing:
This is not a driving-only role – some handballing will be required. You’ll be responsible for the safe transport and handling of ADR-regulated goods using a tanker, ensuring compliance with all health & safety and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- ADR Licence (Including Tanks)
- Driver CPC + Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience in tanker driving and manual handling
- Flexible with overnight stays
- A good understanding of UK road networks and regulations
- A professional and customer-focused attitude
