Job Title: HGV Class 1 (C+E) ADR Driver – Environmental Services
Location: Depot; Knowsley Liverpool (you'll be servicing the UK)
Rates:
- £18.50 per hour (first 50 hours/week)
- £25.00 per hour (after 50 hours & Saturdays)
- £27.75 per hour (Sundays)
- £25.00 / night overnight subsistence allowance
Are you a dependable and safety-focused HGV Class 1 (C+E) ADR Driver looking for your next challenge? We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a key position within their environmental services team, transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste across the UK.
This is a vital role where attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and a strong commitment to safety are essential. Nights away are part of the job, with all travel in a modern, well-maintained sleeper cab.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nationwide collection and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
- Ensure all transport activities comply with ADR and environmental legislation
- Safely load, secure, and unload materials in line with legal and safety requirements
- Complete vehicle checks, maintain accurate tachograph records
- Submit correct documentation and report any incidents promptly
- Liaise with site managers and attend scheduled vehicle inspections
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence with HGV Class 1 (C+E) entitlement
- Valid Driver CPC and ADR Licence (including relevant classifications)
- Willingness to work away from home during the week
- A strong track record of safety, compliance, and reliability
