🔧 Factory Operative – Permanent Role | Swindon
📍 Location: Near Swindon
💰 Salary: Up to £29,500 per annum (DOE)
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (50 hours/week)
Four Chambers Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a Factory Operative on behalf of our well-established client near Reading. This is a permanent position with a company known for its welcoming team, supportive environment, and quality metal manufacturing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools (e.g. hacksaws, files)
- Operate basic machinery (e.g. bandsaws, pillar drills, linishers)
- Support various departments as needed
✅ Requirements:
- Comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Basic experience using handheld tools
- Previous experience working with metal is a bonus
- Warehouse experience
