Four Chambers Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a Customer Service Helpdesk Administrator on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing business based at their Wigan headquarters.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, forward-thinking company during an exciting period of expansion. The role is fast-paced, varied, and suited to someone who thrives in a busy helpdesk environment where accuracy and customer service are paramount.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, therefore candidates must be immediately available to start.


The Role

As a Helpdesk Administrator, you will play a key role in coordinating service and maintenance operations, ensuring all customer requirements are handled efficiently and within agreed SLAs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming customer calls and logging breakdowns onto the internal system
  • Managing service and maintenance requests accurately
  • Allocating and dispatching engineers while tracking job progress
  • Updating customer portals and spreadsheets daily (BP, Shell, Morrisons, MFG etc.)
  • Resolving customer queries and complaints professionally
  • Ordering and chasing parts to ensure engineers meet SLA deadlines
  • Logging damaged claims and overseeing complaint processes
  • Providing administrative support to the wider Helpdesk and Sales teams

Salary & Benefits

  • £27,500 per annum (with annual pay reviews)
  • Working Hours:
    • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Overtime available at 1.3x hourly rate
  • 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 year of customer service experience (office-based preferred)
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems
  • Has strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Is proactive, positive, and keen to develop within a growing business
  • Is immediately available for a temp-to-perm opportunity
  • Is happy to work Sunday–Thursday
