Four Chambers Recruitment are supporting a client in Wrexham with the appointment of a Cleaning Technician to join their industrial services team. This is a hands-on role working across a range of operational environments, supporting specialist cleaning and maintenance activities.
Job Title: Confined Space Cleaning Technician
Location: Wrexham
Reporting to: Industrial Planner / Operations Manager
Role Overview
This position involves delivering specialist industrial cleaning services including high-pressure jetting, vacuum recovery and confined space work. The role is physically demanding and suited to individuals who take pride in safety, reliability and maintaining high operational standards in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver industrial cleaning services, including:
- High-pressure water jetting
- Tank and vessel cleaning
- Confined space entry and cleaning
- Vacuum tanker operations
- Chemical cleaning (where trained and authorised)
- Safely set up, operate and dismantle cleaning equipment
- Work across client sites such as factories, warehouses, power plants and waste facilities
- Follow all health & safety procedures, RAMS and company policies
- Complete job documentation including job sheets and safety checklists
- Correctly wear, maintain and store PPE (respirators, harnesses, protective clothing, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members and site contacts
- Maintain vehicles, tools and equipment in a clean and operational state
- Support emergency response and reactive cleaning work when required, including out-of-hours activity
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding, manual environments
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at height and in industrial settings
- Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts, weekends and overtime
- Full UK driving licence preferred (HGV Class 2 advantageous)
- Strong awareness and adherence to health & safety standards
- Reliable team player with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
Role 2: Confined Space Operative (Industrial Cleaning)
Location: Wrexham
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Employment Type: Ongoing work, Perm

This role involves supporting specialist industrial cleaning and maintenance projects in high-risk environments, working as part of experienced site teams delivering critical services to major infrastructure and industrial clients.
The opportunity offers stable, ongoing employment with a well-established international operator and is suited to candidates with confined space experience who are comfortable working in demanding operational settings. You will be required to sleep away from home where and when required, the client will accommodate you in a hotel with subsistence allowance.
